01Brief
Hudhawk is an Indian online cap brand, with caps between ₹999 and ₹1,199 and a Zodiac collection of embroidered caps. The goal: sell more caps on hudhawk.com, at a return that keeps the ads paying for themselves.
02Challenge
A lot of cap brands sell online in India. In a market that crowded, an ad has a second or two to stand out before someone scrolls past.
03Strategy and testing
From January to August 2026 I ran Hudhawk's Meta and Google ads, with ₹2.5 lakh a month to spend, and made the ads myself in Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
What I tested:
- Audiences: new people against past visitors.
- Creatives: static images against short videos and Reels.
- Offers and collections: which offers and collections to lead with.
- Budget and channels: moving money between Meta and Google toward whatever was selling.
04Website
Alongside the ads, I designed and managed the Hudhawk online store, built the landing pages the ads sent people to, and worked on the shopping flow so more visitors went on to buy. These screenshots are from the live site in October 2026.

05Results
- Video and Reels ads sold better than static images.
- Retargeting brought back people who had visited the site or added a cap to their cart.
Over the eight months, every ₹1 spent on ads brought in ₹3 to ₹3.5 in sales.
06Learnings
- In a crowded market, the first second of an ad matters most.
- Most people don't buy the first time they see a brand, so reminders matter.
- What worked at CapShap carried over: test one thing at a time, then let the numbers decide.
